Reliance recently launched the successor to the Jio Phone, the Jio Phone 2 in India. The latest variant in the feature phone segment comes with one upgrade, i.e. a QWERTY keypad. Additionally, this phone also comes with WhatsApp support. However, it must be noted that the app will become available for the Jio Phone users on August 15, 2018, via Jio app store. Just like the Jio Phone, the Jio Phone 2 is also being pitted against Nokia’s banana-shaped 4G feature phone, the Nokia 8110 4G.

The Jio Phone 2 is priced at Rs. 2,999 and will be up for sale starting August 15, 2018. It will be available in Black colour option only. On the other hand, the Nokia 8110 4Gis yet to launch in India. The phone was launched at EUR 79 (approx. Rs. 6,300) in Europe.
